To whom it may concern:
Sometime shortly after Thanksgiving, I purchased a piece of clipart from you guys. Not only was the website layout confusing to the point where I mistakenly bought an EPS file (which I couldn’t open), but when I acquired the software necessary to open such a file, the file was blank. Essentially I paid you twelve dollars for a blank white screen. As you can imagine, that simply won’t do. Please let me know what information you need from me in order to allow me a no-charge re-download of a jpg. format image. Thank you.

Subject: Re: Retro Clip Art question
Hi Retro Bob,
Everything is great and the tech department was super nice and gave me some transparent gifs which I am having a lot of fun with! I am only using them in black and white on our site, but I am really pleased with the way they look.
I have one question: I am using the Eiffel Tower image on about 50 percent of the pages on our web site, and it's just not punchy enough when it's near some of your other great images (Lady on Phone, Couple with Cocktails, etc.). If you find another Eiffel Tower image that is a little stronger/bolder, I would love to buy it ASAP.
(Background: For what it's worth, we have a site for tourists who rent apartments in Paris. We're called "Frenchy Rentals" and have heard from a few 60-somethings who told us our name sounds "old," midwestern, and not sophisticated, etc. None of the young people we rent to have a problem with it, (like us, they think it's kinda funny) and it seems to be fairly memorable since everyone else has used Paris in their domain name, so we are trying to sort of play up the "old" and embrace it. I am the worst web designer in the world, but our site does fine generating bookings, but I love the retro images and think that if what these folks are saying is true, then why not go all the way and give it a little retro twist?)
So, you probably didn't need to know all that, but that's why I'm revamping our site literally as we speak and looking for Eiffel Tower pics. I am going to probably purchase a few more images in the next week, so do let me know if by chance you find anything Paris-y! As I said, I am having such fun with all the images! I will wait to re-publish the site if you think you might find something. I can only imagine all the work that goes into making those images all crisp and new-looking!
Thanks again for all your help!

Subject: Re: Part 2: HELP! Mistake ordering EPS - need JPEGs
Dear Tony,
Thank again for all your help. The gifs seem to work best. (The pngs are fine in the browser but end up giving me an error message in the Yahoo! SiteBuilder program I am using.) My background color is a pale yellow (Hex color code: #FFFFCC; R255, G255, B204; H60, S20, B100...like I know what any of that means!), which I forgot to tell you -- if that still matters.
I hope if you ever need a client reference or want someone to write a nice coment for your site you just let me know. I work with tourists here every day and know what a pain in the butt customers like me can be. But I also know what good customer service is and you have gone above and beyond. I am going to have to invest in some books and some new software so next time I do this I won't feel like such a moron.
I will be sure to credit you guys on our soon-to-be-new-and-improved website - I hope you will not be mortified by my primative skills!! ;-) I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer, but I'll know what to order next time!
Thanks again,
Paula |

Goodness you guys are up early, and on Saturday! I hadn't read your other email when I responded to the first one, so I will try the PNG files, which it sounds like will work for sure.
I am very sorry to have put you to this trouble. Perhaps I should have realized that you site is for professional designers and gotten a clue to begin with! I just love the images though!
I will try the PNG files now and will let you know. You guys have gone above and beyond, I can assure you!
Thanks again,
Paula |

Hi there,
I don't have Photoshop. I did purchase some images a couple days ago from another site and they were gifs. I am guessing this format is not available for purchase from you. Can you still help me, or am I out of luck? I actually requested these Paris images from Retro Bob and he prepared them for me. I really want to use them and was so excited about the images.
(Sorry for the delay of response, but I am living in France, and therefore have a time change issue.)
Thanks,
Paula |

Thanks Tony. If you don't receive payment by Tuesday, please email and let me know and I will call you with my credit card #.
"Class on Responsibility"..... I'm thinking this class is going to be called "Class of Tough Luck Buddy".
I think between the fake ID he bought from the Graphic Arts kid, Bears Tickets and The Price of Beer in Chicago the Kid has run through his spending money for the year. He might want to get a job! I'm sure there are plenty of restaurants that need Busboys. :)
Thank you for understanding and by the way....... Love Your Clip Art!
