It's really
hard to envision what our artwork can look like when it's
colorized and placed into the context of a layout, especially
when you're looking at the fuzzy little thumbnails in our
shopping cart (we really have to do something about that LOL),
but nevertheless, we hope you're beginning to get the idea
how it can be employed from looking at these gallery samples.
The thing is, in this day and age, "the
21st century" (ooh, ahh), we're all so inundated with
incredible print production capabilities and 3d computer animation
that we tend to overlook the power and effectiveness which
can be found in simple line art (that's what retro art basically
is by the way).
We feel there's something deeply philosophical
and spiritual about line art - it's sort of a yin yang thing.
Every shape and element has to be divided into either black
or white areas, period! All of the drawings you see on the
right were originally created with that philosophy in mind.
