Jpeg

This is the default format for the images on our shopping cart.  Jpegs are the most common file format used on the internet.  They are compatible with any graphics or layout programs, including Microsoft Word or even the most basic layout programs available.

Keep in mind that Jpegs are not transparent, so you may have difficulty colorizing them or integrating them with colored backgrounds.  They will also become pixelated (fuzzy) if you blow them up too large.  The jpegs we provide however are quite high resolution (600 dpi), so they will be practical for most situations.

EPS

This is the optional (and higher priced) file format on our shopping cart.  EPS stands for "Encapsulated Postscript". This is a vector file format which is extremely versatile.  It can be enlarged to any size and will still remain perfectly clear.  There will be no pixelation.  It is also fully transparent and can be easily integrated into any graphic layout.

The EPS format is preferred by professional graphic artists, sign shops and digital reproduction services.  Keep in mind that you will require a specialized program such as Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks or Photoshop to open an EPS file.
